A graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston Family Medicine Residency, Dr. Paula Schultz Denson has practiced in Tyler County for over 32 years. She has supported many families in the county by meeting the medical needs of each member regardless of age. She herself is married with two sons. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Denson continues to provide care for all from birth and up.

Lauren Conner, PA-C graduated from UTMB Physician Assistant Studies in Galveston December 2007 and was on the Dean’s list each semester. Lauren has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, minor in chemistry and psychology. She went to McNeese State University in Lake Charles where she achieved Honors Scholar and Magna Cum Laude. Mrs. Conner has a variety of experience around Southeast Texas and Louisiana and has had the honor of working at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Mrs. Conner has been with TCH since November 2016.

Originally from Chester TX, Amber Davis, FNP-C joined our clinic in 2021. She graduated Magma Cum Laude from Stephen F Austin State University with her Bachelors in Science of Nursing in 2007, and then earned her Masters in Science of Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Arlington in 2019. She is looking forward to serving our patients and the community for many years.

Shalicia Riggins MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center in 2021. She earned her Licensed Vocational Nursing certification from Angelina College in 2004, Associates of Science degree in Nursing from Angelina College in 2007, graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Arlington in 2016 and Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas Arlington in 2021.
Her personal philosophy is “Nursing embodies knowledge with compassion, it involves formulating care that is individualized and specific to each patient without sacrificing quality. I believe I was created with a purpose and that is to provide high quality healthcare for the service and love of others.”

A graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Melissa Abbott has practiced in emergency medicine for 10 years. She loves helping people and has a big heart for children.  She volunteers with kids ministry at her church and is raising 2 daughters. The key to better health is a partnership between the patient, family and clinician. She believes only by truly knowing her patients can she give them the best care.

Sebrina Alivernini is originally from the Southeast Texas area and will be relocating to this area. She has served the Beaumont area over the past twenty years as an Acute Care and Family nurse practitioner.

She graduated in 1997 from  Lamar University with her Bachelors in science of Nursing. She then earned her Masters with a focus in Acute/Critical Care in 2004 and went back for her post masters in Family Practice in 2012 both degrees are from the University of Texas in Houston.  She is looking forward  serving this community for many years to come. 

Savitha Balakrishna,MD is a Family physician who has been serving the East Texas region for over 17 years. She attended Medical school in India and completed Family Medicine residency training in Detroit, MI, where she was Chief Resident in her senior year.  She has a wide range of experience, and has worked as Hospitalist, in Urgent Care and Primary care, taking care of all ages.

I am Allen Williamson D.O. I’m a board certified family physician. I have been practicing in South East Texas for the last 29 years. I was born and raised in South East Texas. I graduated from Vidor High School and I attended University of Texas Austin and Lamar University. I received a BS in physician assistant studies from UTMB-Galveston. I practiced as a PA for 17 years until I returned to pursue goals as a physician. I attended University of Osteopathic medicine and health sciences where I received my Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. I have a lovely wife who is also a practicing physician. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
