Patient Advocacy/Education

The Director of Patient Quality here at Tyler County Hospital is dedicated solely to the purpose of patient education and advocacy. As a patient advocate, she visits inpatients at Tyler County Hospital on a twice daily basis during the week. As she discovers patient needs, she works with our nursing staff and doctors to see that every patient has an optimal experience here at Tyler County Hospital. Our goal is “Always” 100% of the time. Our desire is to exceed your expectations while you are staying here with us.

We may be small, but we care big even after you have left the hospital.

Once a patient is discharged from the hospital, our Director of Patient Quality makes follow-up calls to patients and families. These calls are intended to provide continued education and advocacy once the patient has left the hospital. As an added value to our patients and families, the Director of Patient Quality will make every effort to aid in the transition to home life. She provides education, emotional support, and resources whenever possible.

Our relationship with our patients is important to us, and we value your loyalty.

Thank you for supporting your Tyler County Hospital.
